Question:  How do i transfer files b/n a Mac and a PC?

Answer - Use the _Transfer Volume to transfer files b/n any two computers (Mac or PC)

Question:  How do i access the Transfer Volume from a Mac?

Answer - Look for a short cut, Connect To TRANSFER, on the Desktop.  If there is none follow the following steps:

  1. Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
  2. Go to the top menu bar & choose Connect to Server from the GO Menu (command + K ).
  3. In the address field of the Connect to Server dialog, type 10.1.107.19 then click Connect. 
  4. Select the Guest radio button and click Connect.
  5. Select _Transfer_Only and click OK.

Question:  How do i access my instructor class Volume?

Answer - Follow the these steps:

  1. Click the Finder icon in the Dock.
  2. Go to the top menu bar & choose Connect to Server from the GO Menu (command + K ).
  3. In the address field of the Connect to Server dialog, type 10.1.107.9 then click Connect. 
  4. Make sure the Registered User radio button is selected and click Connect.
  5. For Name and Password type in the name and password provided by your instructor and click Connect.

Question:  How do i access the Transfer Volume from a PC?

Answer - Look for a short cut, TO _TRANSFER, on the Desktop. If there is none follow the following steps:

  1. Click on Start then click on Run.
  2. Type in 10.1.107.19 and press OK
  3. Then click on _Transfer_Only

Question:  How do i access my instructor class Volume from a PC?

Answer - Follow the these steps:

  1. Click on Start then click on Run.
  2. Then type in \\acswinserver and press enter
  3. Then type in Instructor's Last name and password
  4. Then click on Instructor's Volume
