27th Annual Scholarship Benefit and Fashion Show
Saturday, May 2, 2009 at the Beverly Hilton, Beverly Hills, CA

Experience the future of fashion! For the past 26 years, the Benefit black-tie gala has featured Los
Angeles’ largest runway show with more than 70 professional models in 175-plus student designs for women, men and juniors. Approximately 900 guests—an affluent, creative crowd made up of the people who make Los Angeles happen, including business and entertainment, stylists, fashion manufacturers and retailers, celebrities, and fashion fans—get a glimpse at the future of fashion design from the perspective of those who invent it—Otis fashion students! And, this year’s event will also feature a silent auction with the amazing works of student artists and designers across disciplines at Otis.

In 2008, more than $1.1 million was raised in one night for scholarships benefiting students in all disciplines at Otis. Many of these promising young artists and designers would be unable to complete their education without this financial support.

2009 Benefit Honorees are Bob Hurley, Chairman of Hurley International, and Pacific Sunwear of California, Inc. (PacSun). This year’s Benefit features fashion designed by students under the direction of mentors:
